Job Summary
Responsible for supporting and executing digital channel initiatives for Business and Commercial clients. The portfolio includes Business Online, Enterprise Online, E-commerce, Flexipay Merchant, Agent Banking, Billers, School Pay, Quantum Trade, Point of Sale (POS), and other digital solutions within the business unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive migration to digital channels by promoting adoption and educating customers and staff on self-service solutions
- Onboard merchants, install products, and provide technical support for POS and related systems
- Identify new sales opportunities through customer engagement alongside Relationship Managers
- Contribute to growth and profitability of the digital portfolio by tracking usage and achieving sales targets
- Collaborate with IT to ensure system uptime and optimal performance
- Analyze MIS and transaction reports to monitor product usage and performance
- Manage compliance processes related to merchant acquisition and onboarding
- Ensure all processes are executed within agreed service level agreements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Commerce, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in branch banking with knowledge of digital and self-service banking products
- Experience in merchant solutions or telecommunications is an added advantage
- Strong ability to retain customers by understanding their needs and presenting relevant solutions
- Good knowledge of banking policies and procedures related to customer transactions
- Understanding of system processes, inputs, and outputs for banking products
