Job Summary

Responsible for executing defined processes to ensure invoices, staff claims, and corporate card settlements are processed accurately and within set timelines. The role also focuses on driving process improvement, automation, and digitisation within the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process invoices, staff claims, and corporate card settlements accurately and on time
  • Ensure only duly authorized payments are processed and financial hygiene standards are maintained
  • Prevent errors by verifying amounts, vendor details, and VAT codes
  • Identify and escalate risks, including potential fraudulent transactions
  • Resolve issues affecting processing and manage both incoming and outgoing queries efficiently
  • Monitor and manage outstanding invoices and claims
  • Drive process improvement, automation, and digitisation initiatives
  • Engage stakeholders to identify root causes and opportunities for process enhancement
  • Measure and report on service delivery performance against agreed SLAs
  • Maintain a strong understanding of end-to-end procurement and finance processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable
  • Proven involvement in process improvement, automation, or digitisation initiatives
  • Ability to design and implement financial controls to mitigate risks
  • Strong understanding of financial systems and process optimization
