Job Summary
The KIP Business Development Specialist will support the development and implementation of the park’s business and marketing strategy through business analysis, market intelligence, demand forecasting and investor engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage stakeholders to identify business needs and recommend commercially viable solutions.
- Conduct market research and demand forecasting.
- Identify priority anchor industries.
- Prepare business cases, financial models and cost-benefit analyses.
- Develop and review the park’s commercial strategy.
- Develop risk and opportunity registers.
- Segment target markets and develop investor value propositions.
- Plan B2B marketing campaigns.
- Prepare investor prospectuses, presentations and promotional materials.
- Manage the investor pipeline and CRM records.
- Support transparent land allocation and investor onboarding.
- Monitor sub-lease obligations and investor relationships.
- Coordinate with engineering, finance, legal, environment and operations teams.
- Develop dashboards and reports on investor activity, occupancy, revenue and campaign performance.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with Honours in Commerce, Accounting, Business Management, Engineering or a related field.
- At least 6 years’ relevant experience in business analysis, market research, commercial strategy, marketing, investor attraction or business development.
- Experience in infrastructure, industrial development, energy, real estate or similar environments is preferred.
- Advanced spreadsheet and presentation skills.
- Experience with data visualization and CRM platforms.
- Power BI or SQL experience is an added advantage.
- Stakeholder engagement experience is essential.
- Professional marketing membership is an added advantage.
- Project management or marketing/business development postgraduate training is an added advantage.
