Job Purpose
The role is responsible for selling the bank’s products, meeting customer needs, identifying and following up on leads, building strong relationships, and engaging customers throughout all stages of the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Market and sell the bank’s products and services to potential customers
- Contact leads and schedule appointments to present banking solutions
- Assist clients in completing application forms and submit them to branches for processing
- Participate in activations, door-to-door sales, and other marketing initiatives
- Prepare regular sales reports tracking daily, weekly, and monthly performance against targets
- Follow up on leads and maintain consistent communication to ensure customer satisfaction and reduce complaints
- Cross-sell products to existing customers
Person Specifications
- Diploma or degree in a business-related field
- Relevant experience as a Sales Representative
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets
- Strong selling, negotiation, and communication skills
- Good time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to customer needs
- Strong relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- Ability to deliver excellent customer experience to support sustainable growth of ETB and NTB customers
