Communications Specialist Intern

The Communications Specialist Intern will support the Regional Communications Manager in developing and executing modern communication strategies. The role focuses on articulating the company’s strategic narrative, driving engagement, and showcasing innovation and performance across multiple channels.

This position requires strong storytelling skills and collaboration in ideation, development, and execution of strategic campaigns tailored to different functions or groups. Responsibilities also include organizing events, webcasts, and driving employee engagement initiatives through effective internal communications.

Responsibilities

• Create clear, engaging, and well-structured written communications for employees across channels such as newsletters, intranet posts, and digital signage
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative communication campaigns for targeted audiences
• Support end-to-end campaign execution aligned with communication strategies and performance objectives
• Coordinate logistics for internal events, conferences, and webcasts to ensure seamless delivery
• Support external communication activities to enhance brand visibility and industry presence

Experience & Exposure

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Media Studies, or a related field
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Familiarity with digital communication platforms (e.g., intranet systems, email marketing tools, content management systems) is an added advantage
• Experience using Canva or similar tools for graphics or short-form video content is an advantage
• Strong writing skills, attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
