For a couple of seconds, my mind was carried away to a place of perfection. The life in Rachael’s voice could heal a depressed soul. I stood there for almost a minute after the call, doing absolutely nothing but smiling to myself. I had even forgotten about my acquaintance who was still waiting for me to complete my call. It was only when he cleared his throat that I remembered his presence.
