The MTN Foundation, under the MTN @25 initiative, has opened applications for Changemakers Phase 3, a programme aimed at partnering with individuals and organisations to bring community dreams to life in Uganda.

The programme is inspired by everyday Ugandans making a positive impact in their communities. It seeks to support initiatives that promote economic growth and improve people’s quality of life, contributing to positive and sustainable transformation across Uganda.

What Does the Programme Support?

MTN Changemakers focuses on projects that:

• Fall within MTN Foundation’s focus areas of Economic Empowerment, Education and Health.
• Address a genuine community or societal need.
• Have a sustainable or lasting impact.
• Create positive and direct change in the lives of beneficiaries.
• Demonstrate effective stakeholder engagement.
• Involve local leadership at the highest levels.
• Encourage partnerships between MTN, development partners and government.

Important: No Cash Donations

Successful projects will be supported through in-kind donations. This means MTN will not provide cash donations to successful applicants.

Applicants should therefore clearly explain their initiative and the specific support required to achieve its intended impact.

When Can You Apply?

The Changemakers Phase 3 programme kicked off on 1 September 2026, and applications will remain open until:

30 September 2026

Individuals and organisations interested in applying can download the official proposal application form and provide details about their initiative.
