Job Description

Coca-Cola Beverages Africa is the largest African Coca-Cola bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. We are seeking a qualified Electrical Artisan to join our team at the Rwenzori Plant in Kampala.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Team Leader, Packaging and will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective electrical maintenance to ensure optimal equipment reliability and performance.
• Diagnose electrical and automation faults and carry out timely repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Support asset care initiatives and monitor equipment performance to maximize equipment availability and efficiency.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety, EOSH, GMP, food safety, quality, and company standards.
• Manage electrical spare parts effectively while optimizing maintenance costs.
• Provide technical support and basic asset care coaching to production teams.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, participate in shift handovers, and support maintenance planning.
• Comply with Coca-Cola business systems, including SC Ways (Supply Chain Ways), quality systems, food safety requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Electronics & Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Trade Test Certification in Electrical Engineering is an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the FMCG industry.

  • Industrial automation systems
