Job Description

  • Main Purpose:
    • The Project Coordinator supports the full project implementation cycle for both FTTx and non-technical projects, including facilities, products, and service-related initiatives
    • Coordinates day-to-day project activities, supports planning and execution, and ensures adherence to timelines and quality standards
    • Participates in quality assurance processes, including workmanship inspections and installation acceptance activities
    • Provides operational and administrative support to the Project Manager to enable effective execution and successful delivery

  • Main Job Functions:
    • Ensure projects are executed using best practice project management guidelines
    • Implement projects in line with the Marketing Roadmap
    • Ensure regular project reporting in accordance with business requirements
    • Deliver projects within specified timelines and defined quality plans
    • Ensure proper handover of completed projects to internal stakeholders
    • Prepare project timelines with clear interdependencies across activities
    • Ensure all projects follow customer-centricity guidelines
    • Manage project risks effectively
    • Manage project procurement processes
    • Manage project contracts
    • Support project human resource management
    • Maintain and manage project documentation
    • Ensure capitalization of all completed projects

Responsibilities

  • Support coordination and execution of project activities across multiple initiatives
  • Monitor timelines, deliverables, and quality standards
  • Assist in risk, procurement, and contract management processes
  • Facilitate communication between project stakeholders
  • Ensure documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements are met
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in project execution and delivery

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, Software, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Work Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a relevant field
    • Ability to drive a company car is an added advantage
