Job Purpose
Responsible for effective data analytics and business intelligence across the Fund, implementing statistical and predictive modeling techniques to build, maintain, and improve multiple real-time decision support systems.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and managing the creation and dissemination of reports and performance dashboards.
- Creating business scenarios, analytical methods, and innovative analyses of available data while developing data solutions.
- Identifying information gaps, designing reports, and publishing them to guide field teams.
- Collecting, analyzing, and presenting data and insights.
- Collecting expenditure and revenue data and preparing cost-benefit analyses.
- Setting targets for key performance indicators (KPIs) based on empirical analysis.
- Conducting periodic research to gather valuable insights on market trends affecting the business.
- Designing analytical models and presenting data-driven solutions.
- Partnering with process owners to implement standard systems and methods for managing business processes, enabling sustainable improvements in business results.
- Supporting continuous improvement of business processes through data-driven analysis.
- Coordinating with different teams to determine requirements for data warehousing, reporting, and analytical solutions.
Academic and Professional Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a mathematical or IT-related field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or any other highly quantitative discipline.
- Professional certification in Data Science, Big Data, or Data Analytics.
Experience
- At least 3 years’ work experience in IT or Finance within a busy environment.
- At least 1 year of experience at Senior Officer level.
